PERSPECTIVE
per·spec·tive
Perspective. It’s what grants us balance and allows us to see from different points of view. In the involuntary odyssey of these pandemic years, no one has eluded shifts in daily reality, some seismic and some small.
Plans change; personal space alters; attitudes and habits transform. Notions of community, mortality, and security and more are called into question. Nothing looks exactly as it once did.
Still, nature sets a metronome of time with sunlight and seasons arriving on schedule, offering intervals of relief as we focus, refocus, and refocus again. Here, plants stand in for some of the perspectives we’ve challenged and changed. Some we’ll abandon and, perhaps, some we’ll keep.
