Maps
My interest in integrating maps into my work started with a show entitled, “Before They Were Houseplants”. The work is a visual reminder that plants don’t originate in the floral department of the local grocery store. Every plant species grows wild somewhere and has a purpose in the ecosystem of that place. My range and plant subjects continue to expand.
